There was a time when I thought I had to have it all figured out.
I had plans. Big ones.
Vision boards. To-do lists. All the things.
But still… my soul was tired. My heart was heavy.
And I couldn’t understand why it felt like everything I built kept falling apart.
Then I heard God whisper:
“Let Me have My way.”
I wish I could say I surrendered right away… but I didn’t.
I wrestled. I cried. I tried to hold it all together with my bare hands.
And that’s when I realized… control was killing my peace.
💭 Surrender Ain’t Always Peaceful… at First
Letting God have His way isn’t always this soft, pretty journey.
Sometimes it looks like silence.
Like being in a room full of people but still feeling misunderstood.
Like showing up with a smile when your heart is grieving the version of yourself you had to let go of.
But somewhere in the surrender, I found clarity.
I found rest.
I found purpose that wasn’t performative.
🌿 What God Builds, He Sustains
Since then, I’ve watched God restore areas of my life I thought were too far gone:
My mindset, My heart, My business, My calling, & Even my creativity
I took a break. I got quiet. I let Him lead.
And now?
